SeaWorld Abu Dhabi opened on Yas Island in 2023 and is one of the largest marine life parks in the world, built around an enormous multi-species aquarium and a mix of rides, shows and animal habitats. It sits next to Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld, so it slots into any plan for the island. For the wider picture, read our Yas Island guide.
Tickets and Pricing
Standard single-day admission is approximately AED 375 per adult as of 2026. Child prices are lower and the youngest children enter free. Dated online tickets are normally cheaper than gate prices, and they let you skip the ticket desk and scan a QR code at the entrance.
Book SeaWorld Abu Dhabi tickets on Klook for instant e-ticket delivery. Check the cancellation terms before you pay, because some listings are non-refundable and fixed to the chosen date. If you want transport and a guide included, browse Abu Dhabi tours on GetYourGuide.
Opening hours: Most listings show 10:00 to 19:00 daily, though some resellers quote an earlier close, and Ramadan hours are shorter. Confirm the date you plan to visit on the official SeaWorld website before you go.
The Eight Realms
SeaWorld is organised into themed realms, each built around a different part of the ocean. The names below follow the parkβs own layout.
One Ocean
The entrance hub, linking to the other seven realms. It includes a 360-degree media experience, an Explorer HQ and the Animal Care Center, which shows the veterinary work behind the park. Treat it as a short orientation stop rather than a main event.
Abu Dhabi Ocean
This realm covers the Arabian Gulf ecosystem and local Emirati heritage. Look for the Abu Dhabi Souk, the pearl diving shows and a touch pool where children can handle gentle marine life. It is the best realm for linking the park to the history of the region.
Endless Ocean
The centrepiece. Endless Ocean holds one of the worldβs largest multi-species marine aquariums, spread across several habitats. The Swirl, a huge circling school of fish, and the Ocean Explorer submarine ride are the highlights, and there are dolphin observation areas. Allow the most time here.
Tropical Ocean
A rainforest-style setting around a clear lagoon. Reef Explorer and Shark Encounter showcase tropical marine life, while the Manta Coaster is the main thrill ride in this part of the park. Dolphin presentations run here too.
Polar Ocean
An icy area with a penguin habitat, Penguin Play and the Arctic Iceberg Explorer. It is a welcome cool-down on a hot afternoon, and a favourite with younger children.
Rocky Point
A waterfront area focused on sea lions and seals, with live presentations and animal encounters. Check show times on arrival and plan your route around them.
MicroOcean
A family zone about tiny marine life, with a MicroSubmarine tour, a handful of gentle rides, live entertainment and a play area. It suits young children best.
Shark Walk
A walk-through experience beneath sharks in a transparent tunnel, with an optional Shark Cage Dive for those who want to get closer. Age and safety limits apply to the dive.
Some rides have height or age restrictions, so check each attractionβs requirements before queuing.
Quick Pass Add-On
The Quick Pass is a paid upgrade that gives priority access to selected rides, not to every attraction. It is most useful on Fridays, Saturdays, school holidays and public holidays, when queues for the main rides build quickly. On a quiet Tuesday or Wednesday most visitors do fine without it. Several ticket sellers list a SeaWorld ticket with Quick Pass as a separate option, so compare it against the standard ticket plus the add-on price.
How Long to Spend
Allow 4-5 hours for the main habitats, a couple of shows and the headline rides. If you want every presentation, the animal encounters and a relaxed lunch, a full day is realistic, and some visitors spend five to six hours. Arrive at opening, head to Endless Ocean and the rides first, then move to the shows once the queues grow.
Combo and Multi-Park Passes
Yas Island sells multi-park passes covering SeaWorld together with Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld. Options usually cover two, three or four parks within a set validity window, which can save money against separate tickets. Klook also sells a multi-attraction pass for Abu Dhabi, so compare it with the island passes.
A practical plan is SeaWorld on one day and an indoor park such as Warner Bros. World on the next, rather than two parks back to back. Pairing SeaWorld with a morning at Ferrari World works if you arrive early and accept a long day. Read the Warner Bros. World guide and our Abu Dhabi city guide when planning the rest of your trip.
Getting There
From Abu Dhabi city: Yas Island is approximately 20 km from the centre, about 20-25 minutes by car on the E12. A taxi costs approximately AED 50-70 each way as of 2026.
From Dubai: The island is approximately 40 km from central Dubai, a drive of 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. A taxi costs approximately AED 150-200 one-way. Rush hours, roughly 07:00 to 09:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, can add significant time.
Without a car: Public buses reach Yas Island but need changes and are slow. A private transfer or a guided Abu Dhabi tour with transport is the easier choice from Dubai.
Practical Tips
- Book dated tickets online and screenshot the QR code in case of poor signal at the gate.
- Go on a weekday between October and April for cooler weather and shorter queues.
- Wear comfortable shoes, bring a light layer for the polar area, and expect to get splashed near some rides.
- Check animal show times as soon as you arrive and plan your route around them.
- Prices, hours and pass terms change often, so confirm them before you book.
