Dubai Miracle Garden: World's Largest Flower Garden Visitor Guide

Dubai Miracle Garden holds the Guinness World Record as the world’s largest flower garden: 150 million flowers planted across 72,000 square metres in the Arjan district of Dubailand. The garden operates only in the cooler months — November through May — when temperatures allow flowers to survive outdoors in Dubai. In summer, the entire planting is prepared, stored, and replanted to reopen for the following season.

The experience is primarily visual and photographic. Walk-through pathways wind between large sculptural installations, floral arches, themed zones, and miniature villages constructed entirely from living flowers. It is unlike any botanical garden in the conventional sense — the emphasis is on scale and colour, not on species identification or horticultural education.

What to See

Landmark Floral Sculptures

Each season, the Miracle Garden builds or updates a set of headline sculptural installations:

Emirates A380 — A life-size replica of an Emirates Airlines Airbus A380 aircraft, covered in flowers. This is the most photographed structure in the garden and holds its own world record for the largest floral installation on an aircraft. The detail — flowers representing the livery colours, engine nacelles, winglets — is genuinely impressive up close.

Floral Butterfly — A multi-wing arch structure with thousands of different flower varieties arranged in wing patterns. Multiple viewing angles give different colour combinations.

Heart Passage — A long tunnel of archway hearts constructed from red and pink blooms. One of the most popular areas for photography — expect queues on weekends.

Character Villages — Sections themed around licensed characters (the lineup changes each season — Smurfs, Minions, Hello Kitty, and others have all appeared in previous seasons). A popular area for families with children.

Diamond Arch and Stars Avenue — Zones with overhead arched canopies of flowers, designed for walking through rather than viewing from a distance.

Butterfly Garden (Adjacent)

Dubai Butterfly Garden is a separate enclosed structure immediately adjacent to the Miracle Garden, housing over 15,000 live butterflies across 26 species. Entry is separately ticketed (approximately AED 55 per adult as of 2026) and the experience is very different — warm, humid, and quiet inside the domed netted space. A combined Miracle Garden + Butterfly Garden ticket is typically available at a reduced rate.

Best Time to Visit

Season: The garden opens in mid-November and closes in late April or early May. Visiting outside these months is not possible.

Time of day: Mornings are the most comfortable and least crowded. The garden opens at 09:00. Arriving at opening gives the best chance of photographing landmark installations without large groups in frame. Midday in February–April can be warm even by Dubai standards.

Day of week: Weekdays are considerably quieter than Fridays and Saturdays. During UAE school holidays and UAE public holidays, the garden fills to capacity and the gate may implement timed entry management.

Peak months: December and January have the most complete planting and the widest variety of flowers in bloom. February and March are still good but some varieties may have passed peak bloom.

Tickets

Adult: approximately AED 55 as of 2026. Children under 3: free. Tickets are available at the gate or in advance via Tiqets or GetYourGuide. During December–February, advance purchase is advisable to avoid gate queues on weekends.

No timed entry slots operate — entry is continuous within opening hours.

Opening Hours

Approximately 09:00 to 21:00 Saturday to Thursday; 09:00 to 22:00 on Fridays as of 2026. Hours vary by month and during Ramadan. Always verify the current-season hours on the official Miracle Garden website before planning travel around the closing time.

Getting There

By car: The Miracle Garden is in Arjan, accessible from Al Khail Road (E44) or Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) via the Arjan interchange. Free parking is available on-site — arrive before 10:00 on weekends to get a close space.

By Metro + Taxi: Nearest Metro station is Mall of the Emirates (Red Line). From there, take a taxi (approximately AED 30–40) or the 105 RTA bus route, which stops near the garden entrance.

By taxi from central Dubai: Approximately AED 60–90 depending on starting point and traffic.

By taxi from Dubai Marina: Approximately AED 40–60.

Practical Tips

• Wear comfortable shoes — the garden has approximately 3 km of walking paths. Heels and dress shoes are impractical on the gravel and grass surfaces.
• Photography equipment: A wide-angle lens captures the scale of large sculptures. The Boeing A380 installation requires a very wide field of view to photograph in full from ground level.
• Food and drink: Multiple kiosks sell sandwiches, soft drinks, and ice cream. Prices are moderate by Dubai attraction standards (approximately AED 20–40 for a meal item). You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Restrooms are clean and plentiful throughout the garden.
