Six Senses The Palm Dubai has opened on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, marking the brand’s first property in Dubai and its entry into one of the emirate’s most prestigious residential and hotel addresses. The opening establishes Six Senses alongside the cluster of flagship international brands that define the Palm’s hospitality offer.

The property comprises 61 suites, each designed around the brand’s signature wellness and sustainability principles. The spa spans more than 60,000 square feet and is expected to rank among the largest hotel spa facilities in the city, offering a programme of treatments and biohacking therapies consistent with Six Senses’ positioning at the high end of the wellness market.

The dining launch has been anchored by ROKA, the Japanese robatayaki restaurant group, which opened its doors at the property on 18 June 2026. ROKA’s arrival at Six Senses The Palm adds another address to the brand’s Dubai footprint and gives the hotel a well-known culinary name as its flagship dining outlet from the start.

The West Crescent location places the hotel at the tip of Palm Jumeirah, with access to private beach space and views across the Arabian Gulf toward the Dubai Marina skyline. Transfers to the mainland run via the Palm Monorail and road connections to the Sheikh Zayed Road corridor.

For the luxury segment, the opening adds to an already competitive set. Our guide to Dubai luxury hotels covers the leading options across Downtown, DIFC, the Marina and the Palm, with current positioning on rates and the types of traveller each property suits best.

If you are weighing the timing of a visit, our best time to visit the UAE guide outlines how conditions shift through the year. The cooler months from October through April represent the peak window for outdoor activities; summer visits suit those who plan to spend most of their time in air-conditioned interiors or at the beach at dawn and dusk.

Impact on Travelers

Six Senses The Palm occupies a niche that was previously underserved on the Palm: a smaller, wellness-led luxury property that sits apart from the large-format resort hotels dominating the frond and crescent addresses. For travellers who find Atlantis The Palm or the Waldorf Astoria too sprawling, or who are specifically seeking spa and biohacking programming rather than pool-and-beach spectacle, this opening is worth attention.

The 61-suite count is deliberately intimate by Palm standards. Rates at opening are positioned at the higher end of Dubai’s five-star market — expect to pay from around AED 3,500 per night (approximately $950) for an entry-level suite in low season, with premium suites and Palm-facing rooms commanding considerably more. Summer pricing from July through September runs significantly below the autumn and winter peak.

The wellness angle extends beyond spa treatments. Six Senses properties are known for their sleep programmes, nutritional protocols, and biometric tracking options — features that attract a specific category of traveller willing to pay a premium for structured health programming alongside traditional luxury hospitality. ROKA as the flagship restaurant adds a strong culinary draw, particularly given the brand’s reputation in London and Dubai’s existing food scene.

For the Palm Jumeirah area specifically, access to Ain Dubai — the world’s largest observation wheel, located on Bluewaters Island adjacent to the Palm — is a short transfer from the property. Visitors combining the Six Senses with a broader Dubai stay will find the Monorail connection to the mainland efficient for reaching Dubai Marina and the Sheikh Zayed Road tours and attractions.
