Colourful flower archways and floral sculptures at Dubai Miracle Garden in full bloom

October marks the start of Dubaiโ€™s high season, and three of the cityโ€™s biggest attractions have confirmed their reopening dates this month. Dubai Miracle Garden opened on 8 October for its 15th season, Dubai Safari Park follows on 12 October for Season 8, and Global Village opens on 14 October for its 31st season.

The three attractions sit at the core of most family itineraries between October and April. They close through the summer months when temperatures make outdoor visits impractical, and their October return signals the effective start of the cooler half of the year in the UAE.

Dubai Miracle Garden (from 8 October)

Now in its 15th season, Dubai Miracle Garden is the largest natural flower garden in the world, spreading across more than 72,000 square metres in Dubailand. The garden features over 150 million flowers arranged into themed installations, archways, and large-scale sculptures that change each season. It operates daily from around 09:00 to 21:00, with extended hours on weekends and public holidays.

The season runs through to approximately May 2027. Early-season visits in October and November offer the advantage of cooler afternoon temperatures and the display at its freshest. Entry tickets are available at the gate or in advance online; advance booking is advisable during peak periods and public holidays.

Dubai Safari Park (from 12 October)

Dubai Safari Park opens for Season 8 on 12 October. The park spans around 119 hectares and organises its animals into distinct safari zones: African Village, Asian Village, Arabian Desert Safari, and a dedicated Kids Farm. The format involves a guided bus safari through the larger enclosures, followed by walking sections through the smaller animal areas.

Opening times are typically from 09:30 to 17:30 Saturday to Wednesday, and until 19:00 Thursday and Friday. The park is located in Al Warqa and is most easily reached by car or taxi from central Dubai.

Global Village (from 14 October)

Global Village returns for Season 31 on 14 October, running through to April 2027. The outdoor destination brings together national pavilions from over 90 countries, each with food, merchandise, and live entertainment, across a large open-air site in Dubai. It operates evenings only, typically from 16:00 to midnight, making it a particularly popular outing for families and groups looking for a relaxed evening.

Our guides to Dubai Miracle Garden and Global Village cover visitor logistics, transport options, and what to expect at each site. The October reopenings also coincide with Dubai Parks and Resorts resuming operations for the season, giving visitors arriving from mid-October a full set of entertainment options to work with.

Planning your October visit

October temperatures in Dubai typically sit between 26 and 35 degrees Celsius, with humidity lower than the summer months. The evenings are comfortable, making outdoor venues like Global Village particularly enjoyable from mid-October. Hotel rates are generally at their lowest in October before climbing through November into the peak December period.
