UAE–India flight fares are set to fall sharply from 13 September 2026, according to data from aviation analysts tracking summer-to-autumn fare transitions on this high-demand corridor. Travellers who can shift their travel by even a few days stand to save hundreds of dirhams on return fares.
The trigger is the end of the UAE summer holiday season and the return to school — one of the single largest demand drivers on the India–UAE route. Once UAE schools reopen (in most emirates on 14 or 15 September), the surge pricing that has kept fares elevated since June begins to unwind rapidly.
How Much the Fares Are Expected to Drop
Analysts tracking August 30 versus September 13 pricing show the following city-pair comparisons:
- Bengaluru: AED 2,513 → AED 914 (–64%)
- Delhi: AED 2,227 → AED 825 (–63%)
- Hyderabad: AED 1,777 → AED 758 (–57%)
- Mumbai: AED 1,460 → AED 739 (–49%)
These are one-way economy fares on major carriers including Air India, IndiGo, Air Arabia and flydubai. The steepest declines are on the longer-haul southern India routes (Bengaluru, Kochi), where the demand swing is largest.

Indian expatriates in the UAE planning return visits during October or later will find significantly better fares if they avoid the final week of August and the first two weeks of September. The stable pricing window is expected to hold from mid-September through to November 1.
Travellers from India visiting the UAE for tourism or business in the autumn window will find the fare environment much more favourable than summer. Dubai and Abu Dhabi operate their major exhibitions season (GITEX, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, Dubai Airshow) through October and November — autumn is typically when both the weather and the events calendar align.
Families with flexible school schedules should note that post-September 14 pricing is materially cheaper, even if travel timing shifts by only a week.
